FROM THRUWAY WESTBOUND

Thruway west to Canastota Exit (Exit 34); follow Route 5 to 13 (Chittenango) south to Cazenovia; continue through the village of Cazenovia (20/13) stay on Route 13 south; the entrance to the site is a right turn directly off Route 13, south, 1/4 mile south of the intersection of Routes 20 and 13.

FROM THRUWAY EASTBOUND

Thruway east to Route 481 (Exit 34A); follow route 481 south to Genesee Street Exit (Route 92); take Route 92 East to the junction of Route 20; turn left at Route 20 stop light and travel on Route 20 east 3/4 mile to Route 13 south and turn right, the entrance to the site is a right hand turn directly off Route 13 south, 1/4 mile south of the intersection of Routes 20 and 13.

 

FROM ROUTE 81

Exit at the Lafayette/Route 20 exit; follow route 20 east for 16 miles to Cazenovia; at the junctions of Routes 20 and 13, take Route 13 south; the entrance to the site is a right hand turn directly off Route 13, 1/4 mile south of the intersection of Routes 20 and 13.

The main entrance to Lorenzo on Route 13 is marked by a site sign with a white swan and the words “Lorenzo State Historic Site.”

 

 


Admission

Guided tours of the Mansion: Adults, $5; Seniors, $4; Students, $4; Groups of 12 or more with 2-week advance notice, $4; Children 12 and under, free.  Friends of Lorenzo members receive free admission. Outreach and school-age programs, including classes at the Rippleton Schoolhouse, are available by appointment throughout the year.  For more information about admission, educational programs, activities and events, please call Lorenzo at (315) 655-3200.

Hours

Mansion open for the season.  Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 AM to 4:30 PM. Guided tours are offered; visitor center and museum shop are also open.  Grounds are open year-round from dawn to dusk, including the formal garden and Dark Aisle arboretum.

Gift shop

The Gift Shop is open during regular seasonal hours and during "Christmas at Lorenzo".
